Keith was born in Sacramento, California to Charles K. and Alene Linehan. Keith was the second born of their five boys. When Keith was one year old, his family moved to Astoria, Oregon. He was a graduate of Astoria High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Oregon Institute of Technology. He built his career as a Software Engineer, working in both California and Oregon. Keith met his wife of 48 years, Margy, while in High School in Astoria. They had two children, Craig and Kaitlyn. The family ultimately settled in Beaverton, Oregon. Keith was a lifelong learner, and curious to explore just about anything that caught his interest. He had countless hobbies including scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, clam digging, hiking, backpacking, muscle cars, ham radio, and travel. He was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, loved to read, never met a museum he didn’t like, and had the best sense of humor. He was also a shotgun and rifle instructor for the NRA, to name just a few. Keith was known for his generosity and willingness to help everyone, from friends and family to strangers. He was always the one to call if you needed anything; from being broken down on the side of the road on your motorcycle to electrical problems in your home. Keith could fix anything. Keith will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his curiosity about the world, and his deep love he had for his family. His warmth, humor, and enthusiasm for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
