David Clinton Killion

David Killion, 81, passed away Nov. 20, 2021, at his home in Warrenton. David (Bud) was born May 15, 1940, in Astoria, and has lived in this area most of his life. He graduated from Warrenton High School in 1958. After serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, Bud did some traveling before settling down in this area for the rest of his life. David married his first wife, Regina, who had a son, Robert, and the couple had a daughter, Brenda. David worked at the Astoria Plywood Mill until 1980. After putting himself through insurance school, he started a successful career selling insurance in this area until retirement. After his first wife died, David married his second wife, Norma, in 1988, and they have enjoyed life together until his passing. David enjoyed fishing and hunting in this area, and in Eastern Oregon, with his family and friends. David is the son of David W. and Ruby Killion. His parents and two brothers, Bill and Bob, and two sisters, Dorothy and Loretta, preceded him in death. He leaves behind his wife, Norma; sister, Juanita; son, Robert; daughter, Brenda; a granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
