Kathy I. Fitzpatrick, 59, of Hammond, died Monday, April 12, 2010, in Astoria, after a battle with cancer.
She was born June 19, 1950, in Astoria, to Myrle and Vera (Brim) Hitchman. Her parents preceded her in death.
She married Gale A. Fitzpatrick. He survives, residing in Hammond.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a lifetime Warrenton area resident.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Stephanie G. Pedraza; a son, Christopher S. Fitzpatrick; a brother, Gregory Hitchman; three grandchildren, Derek Clark and Maverick and Savana Pedraza; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seattle Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center, 900 SW 16th St., Suite 100, Renton, WA 98057.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at the family home, 1835 First Ave. in Hammond.
