Tula Anne Salisbury, 96, of Gearhart, died Friday, April 2, 2010, in Gearhart.

She was born Nov. 21, 1913, in Outlook, Mont., to Anders Christian Nielsen-Lund and Anna (Jacobsen) Lund.

In 1938, she married Michael W. Salisbury in Shelby, Mont. He preceded her in death Nov. 20, 1985.

Mrs. Salisbury worked as a school teacher and a waitress. She and her husband came to Clatsop County in 1970, and she has resided here since.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Greenwood Cemetery in Astoria.

Caldwell's Luce-Layton Mortuary of Astoria is in charge of the arrangements.
