Frances Ardell Jurasin

Ardell was born Oct. 9, 1927, to Frank and Lucille Roe in Aberdeen, Washington. She grew up on a small farm during the Depression. This contributed to her becoming the strong woman she was.

She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1945.

While working at Aberdeen Plywood as a secretary, she met and married Nick Jurasin. In 1951, they moved to Astoria.

She enjoyed gardening and was a great cook. But mostly, she loved taking care of her family, Susan of Eugene, Mike (Sheryl) of Astoria, and Kathy Baldwin (Mike) of Warrenton. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. She was preceded in death by her husband.

The family will have a private graveside service.
