Sally Anne Kinash

Sally passed away after a brief stay at Clatsop Care Center in Astoria, Oregon. She was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to George and Henrietta (Jackiewichi) Kinash and grew up in Nanty-Glo, Pennsylvania. She lived in several locations in Clatsop County since 2000, having moved there from the East Coast.
Sally pursued higher education at Penn State, the University of Pittsburgh and Harrisburg (PA) Community College, with an eventual career focus in mental health work.
Sally is survived by a sister/brother-in-law, Georgina (Kinash) and Ken Boldin of Nanty-Glo and a brother/sister-in-law, David and Ramona Kinash of Seaside, OR.
Sally enjoyed her work in mental health care and counseling. She loved the outdoors and beaches, kite-making and flying, gardening, arts and crafts and photography. She was especially fond of caring for and recreating with her pets, the most recent being her dog, Cosmo, and cat, Jasper.
There will not be a public service.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made in Sally’s name to the Washington Kite Flyers Assn. in Seattle, WA, or the Clatsop Co. Animal Shelter.
