Howard Harold Stone (Lucky) was born 10-3-43 and died 5-8-2013. His father was Elmer Sico. His mother was Lillie Mae Christopher.
Lucky was survived by his wife Marie Stone, sons William Forest of Astoria, Albert Forest of Iowa, Mark Holdefer of Iowa, Roger McGregor of Astoria, William McGregor of Astoria, Kenneth McGregor of Longview, Wash. Daughters Amanda Stone of Texas, Tammy Trembly of Vancouver, Wash. He was the Grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Daughters-in-law Gina McGregor and Louisa Austen.
Howard was a Vietnam War Vet. He served in the Navy and the Army and National Guard. He retired as a painter on the military base where he had worked from April 12, 1979, to June 30, 2003.
Lucky played pool, and bowled on a bowling league at Lower Columbia Bowl for many years. He loved to go golfing. Lucky enjoyed fishing, camping and walking trails. He loved doing projects such as remodeling in and outside the house. Most of all, Lucky was a family man. He would do anything for his kids and grandchildren.
