Erin Frances St. Marie

Erin Frances St. Marie, 69, of Warrenton, died Sunday, June 24, 2012, in Warrenton.

She was born June 27, 1942, in Portland, to Earl Francis and Mary (Maloney) Dooley.

Raised in Portland and Idaho, she graduated from Lewiston (Idaho) High School in 1960.

On Sept. 18, 1970, she married Joseph D. St. Marie Sr. in Portland. He preceded her in death March 21, 2001.

Mrs. St. Marie worked as a bookkeeper for Francis Ford in Portland for a few years. In 1971, she and her husband moved to Clatsop County, where they owned and operated a router rooter plumbing business until 1995. In 1972, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Warrenton School District for several years, retiring in 2000.

Family members said her interests included sewing and helping take care of her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Taubert-Walsh of Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Christina Rowland of Warrenton; three grandchildren, Travis Rowland and his wife, Nina, of Warrenton, Emily Vargas and her husband, Edgar, of Astoria, and Lisa Segundo and her husband, Alfredo, of Cambria, Calif.; two cousins, Ann Mueller of Hillsboro and Judy Carter of Portland; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, Jody St. Marie.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the family home, 91244 U.S. Highway 101 in Warrenton, on what would have been her 70th birthday.
